My Great Lakes 2T-1A-2 Rebuild Diary 2007.

11/12-October-2007. Trial fitted tank to centre section. Started to look at forward ribs and discovered the replacement ribs are a mirror of the original.

I have also created a HELP ME page on this site for areas/parts etc that I don't know what fits. Please have a look especially if you have a Great Lakes 2T-1A-2.
Here is this evenings progress:

Fitted the fuel tank to check all is correct as I have replaced the rear spar.
Tank brackets
I started to look at the replacement forward ribs and discovered the replacements are a morror of the original..
The rib must align with the original - so the rib over the tank aligns with the rear rib.
So I have two choices
a) drill another hole in the spar for the rib to spar bolt.
b) or rivet another flange on the other side of the rib.
